Make a complete vertical time line of your life.  Include at least one personal date and activity/event for every year of your life and at least one  national event which took place for every year of your life.   Print them both clearly under the year on the worksheet OR type them in the same format.  Use more than page if you need to.

Personal Examples: your birth date, your first day of school, the first vacation you remember, your first car purchase, the date of your favorite memory, the day you first fell in love, the date you first saw the Circus Parade, the date a sibling was born or the date a special friend or relative died.

PART 2: Family Tree

A Family Tree is a graphical representation of your family’s heritage.  Complete a Family Tree for your family.  Find birth and death dates for each and cities whenever possible.  If your family has had a divorce, re-marriage or other circumstance, include the additional or re-directed branches wherever possible.  Start with their First and Last name then provide as much of the extra information.  Put maiden names in parenthesis: example- Marie (Jones) Smith.
